Driftless Area Field Day, The Field Day For All!
This page will give an overview of this project and a description of the Field Day Site.
At the bottom of this page will be a navigation menu to go to other pages.

We know this is a LONG time away. BUT... We really need your help!
We are trying to do something different for the 2025 year Field Day.
Something that has never been done around here. Nobody can remember this ever happening before!
Every club in the area is suffering the same problem of low levels of participation for Field Day.
What we want to do, for this to be successful, it will need a LOT more preparation, and time,
thus the reason for this super early start at organizing for the 2025 Field Day.

What is it? It's A Field Day for ALL! Everyone! Even those that don't want to do radio stuff.
A Field Day where different clubs join together as a single group and do Field Day as a single entity.
We are trying to keep this effort as "Club Neutral" as possible.
We have four clubs already joining in on this idea. And soon will be contacting a fifth.
Will you please join us?

We created a groups.io E mail system, so we all can easily discuss everything between us all.
If you plan on joining us in any way, please go and join this E-Mail group, because it is how we will plan
this whole thing.

Clubs that have joined in so far are:

Field Day site for 2025.
We for 2025 will be using the usual YTARC Field Day site. Again It is an Incredible site. Over 1400 feet up on a ridge.

An easy way to know that it is an incredible site when it comes to "RF", is because it was chosen as a location for ATT to put up one of their long lines towers.

And it is not even a tall one! The site is sooo good the tower is only 160 feet tall!

It's one of these types of towers.
It is only like 100 yards north of the Field Day site.

This is not it, but you get the idea of the kind of tower.
Here is a Google Maps Link for the location of the site:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/HNLPLNY3EnQ3PYG3A
